oh, those summer nights...
Are so HOT! right now that you need a book nearby at all times in case you can't sleep. (Well, that's my excuse). Or, unlike me, you might actually be going on holiday! Either way, the media is full of reading recommendations, and these are the recommendations I recommend... (!)
NPR (touch of self-promotion there but hey, c'est my blog!), The Guardian (most people clearly trying to impress, but a few honest choices!), and The Times (100 of them! fiction and non- some particularly good ones, I think, plus children's, audio, and crime...)
So what's your top summer/holiday reading recommendation? Or what would you like to read from those lists?
PS: This week I'm reading - and enjoying- Alan Alda's memoir Never Have Your Dog Stuffed.
